Pricing, markup and how the price is shown

How Calbil calculates the total, how to set markup per traveller or per service, and how to show the price as lump sum, per person or service-wise.

Updated 26 Oct 2026

New Quote pricing: show price as lump sum, per person or service-wise, markup per adult, child and infant, and the chosen vendor rate per service

How the total is made

For each service Calbil takes the cheapest rate that is valid for those dates, converts SAR to PKR at your agency rate, and adds your markup. Each line shows the chosen rate and its vendor; open the line to pick another rate (an override) and give a reason.

Markup

  • Percent % of cost, or PKR per person.
  • Per-person display: separate markup for adults, children and infants.
  • Service-wise display: a markup per service line.
  • Who can change it: the owner always; managers only if the owner turned it on in Settings; agents never (they use the default and never see it).

If you save with 0% markup, Calbil warns you once that the profit is PKR 0.

Show price to client as

  • Lump sum: one total.
  • Per person: price per adult, child and infant.
  • Service-wise: a price per service.

You can switch this after saving, on the quote page.

The client never sees vendor names, costs or your markup — only the selling price in PKR.
